2025 Dragon Boat Canada National Team P2

Phase 2 for which this registration is for, is for invited athletes that were a part of Phase 1. This Phase includes testing for some programs, ongoing programming, and a Selection Camp for all. All Athlete notifications will happen on or before May 15, 2025. The fees collected for the National Team are 100% used to pay for National Team expenses including but not limited to: facility, equipment, coach travel/accommodation and coach compensation. No NT fees collected (not a penny) are part of the DBC operating budget. All cohorts do not have the same fees though they are all very similar (within $115 of each other). Fees are determined based on program expense and anticipated recruitment.

When you register you will first select your “cohort”. What is that? Cohorts are the groupings based on age.
All individuals may register for as many cohorts as they are interested (and age eligible). If you register for an class within a cohort, you may be considered for any program within the cohort for which you are eligible.

Canada’s Para Program is made up of Para and Non-Para Athletes. Non-Para athletes that are interested in supporting the Para program are invited to register also for the Para Program. You do not need to be a Para Athlete to be part of the Para program. Para athletes are not restricted to registering for the Para program only.

The Breast Cancer Survivor Program (new for this year) is open to all Breast Cancer Survivors. BCP Athletes are also eligible for other age classes and/or Para as long as Phase 1 and 2 fees have been remitted.

You will be charged one fee regardless of how many Cohorts you select. Registration fees will be based on the program you select with the higher fee, not the order in which you select. If you complete registration and then register again, you will be charged again, so please be sure to register correctly. Registration fees are not refundable nor are they transferable.
